I graduated from Miami University in the Spring of 2023 with an undergrad degree in Business and a Master Degree in Accountancy from Miami in May of 2024. My academic experiences during my time at Miami have enabled me to strengthen my leadership and communication skills as well as my analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. In addition, I have become proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python through my business computing courses. As part of the Farmer School of Business, I competed in the First-Year Integrated Core Client Challenge where I worked with four other business students to identify a real client problem and then propose, package, and present an innovative yet realistic solution. In addition to being a student-athlete and member of the Varsity Baseball Team, I am proud to have served as a Bridges Diversity Scholar as well as actively participated on the University Athletic Council (RedHawk Council) and Dean of Student's Advisory Board. Through my academic classwork, athletic commitment, and service activities, I have had several opportunities to develop my leadership skills and further my understanding of the importance of teamwork and collaboration in the business environment.Although baseball has been a 40+ hour/week commitment over the past few years, gaining valuable experience and developing a strong business foundation has always been my priority. I have been fortunate to have had two business internships as well as own and operate two separate businesses. During these internship experiences, I engaged in various activities that include aiding in strategic planning processes to increase revenues, improve facility operations, and enhance customer relations. Working with the Ohio Bison Baseball Organization, I had the opportunity to secure corporate sponsorships and drive community engagement. As an entrepreneur and co-owner of two small businesses, I experienced first-hand the importance of accountability, earning the trust and respect of my customers, and maintaining a high level of excellence in all aspects of the business.When I am not in the classroom, on the ball field, or representing Miami through various organizations, I am spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy most outdoor activities and am developing a passion for golf during my limited downtime. Regardless of the sport, activity, class, or work opportunity, I have always been committed to giving my best to ensure the success of myself and those around me by working hard, respecting the process, and leading by example.
