Served as subject matter expert on UAS while deployed twice in support of Op. Enduring Freedom and Op. I completed 98% of training, and while at the "Flight Line" phase of training, suffered Bell's Palsy. During recovery, I moved over to C Co at Libby AAF and worked operations for both the Gray Eagle and Warrior-A training platoons and served as a back-up 1SG within the Company. I also helped manage, write, lead and integrate administration functions within the Headquarters platoon for C Co orderly room. As a SNCO, I also sat on multiple promotion and performance NCO boards. I became Army Basic Instructor qualified and attended the Joint Firepower Course.Upon completion of SLC in early 2013, I graduated as Distinguished Honor Grad of my 15W small group and was the President of our class’ Dining-In. Upon healing, I applied for the 150U- UAS Tech Warrant Officer MOS, was approved, and conducted the 3 required phases of training in 2013.

The original NCO at Fort Cavazos (Hood) was demolished sometime between 2006-2014. That's a sign to retire.
