Satellite Communications Staff Jan 2017 - Dec 2018Provided communications support for an organization of 500+ Soldiers; provided secure voice, data, and radio messagingcommunications capabilities to a Special Forces Support Company, Forward Support Company, 18 Special Forces OperationalDetachment- Alpha's (SFOD-A) and 3 Special Forces Operational Detachment-Bravos (SFOD-B).• Served as project manager and constructed new 7-acre joint operations center in combat zone from the ground up, toinclude electrical, HVAC, pluming and sanitation, and installation of 180 user network with over 32,000 ft of networkcabling• Planned and excited the movement of a Combined Joint Special operations taskforce without loss of communications• Established a plan to configure and distribute over 280 new computers within 5th Special Forces Group with no lossof equipment or work time• Managed 53 satellite access request for deployed outstations• Guided section to achieve 100% Security+ training, resulting in maximum help desk support for the unit• Ensured safe and timely movement of communications equipment valued over $2M with no loss• Managed 25 satellite access nodes within unit
