Mechanic And Assistant Supervisor
CurrentI supervise the line-workers as product is created from the machines to guarantee the final product is perfect. Furthermore, I maintain records of all the machines’ maintenance, cleaning, and testing to present to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) during inspectionsIn addition to my supervising responsibilities, my mechanic duties are as followed: I inspect machinery parts (e.g. tubes, brushes, pipes) to ensure the overnight testings are completed and meet, or exceed, current policies and standards; I complete morning operations (e.g. connect tubing, center the film) and make adjustments if necessary to make certain that the packaging will be processed correctly; and I also complete necessary maintenance and take preventative measurements to ensure all operations are streamlined.
