A significant part of this is our investment in University research in which I play an active role in both the direction and technical management of the portfolio.In my time at Dyson I have lead a wide variety of teams from Technical training through to full Product development, there is always a new challenge around the corner!

Scientist/EngineerDyson 2003 - Mar 2010I started at Dyson in the white good research area also acting as the sole Chemical Scientist in the company. Thus my work was very cross disciplinary involving a large amount of applied science and engineering thinking. During this time I contributed to a number of projects in the laundry and related areas as well as at the start of the development of the Dyson Airblade with which I am still heavily involved.

There I work on scale-up of diverse projects from phosphorus chloride to polymers with a particular emphasis on methacrylate monomers.
