I spent 5 years serving this great country in the United States Marine Corps. Working as an avionics electronics technician for the AV8B Harrier. After receiving an Honorable Discharge I worked a full time job at Sagem Avionics during the day and went to night school to successfully receive my FAA A&P License. Then began my career in turbine engine testing at Dallas Automotive, where in just 2 short years earned the opportunity to become the 2nd shift team lead. Seeing the aviation industry to unstable I applied and awarded a test cell technician position at Solar Turbines. During my 7 years in the test cell working countless weekends and overtime I was was driven to return back to school to complete my Bachelors degree in Organizational Management graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 2013 I accepted a position as Project Assistant. Where I had the opportunity attend and complete Caterpillars 6 Sigma Black Belt Program. In addition to supporting Project Managers I also conducted and lead Lean 6 Sigma projects. The latest adventure at Solar Turbines is becoming a Project Manager. Managing the overhaul of the Centaur 50 and Taurus 60 product lines is one of my challenging, rewarding, and greatest experiences, to date, while working for Solar Turbines.
