From the short time I have been an engineer I can easily say that I enjoy hands on work. Tinkering with items to see how they work is a common past time for me. Working as a manufacturing engineer fits my personality as I enjoy seeing the process and how it works versus only reading about it. My internships with Humanetics and Guardian Medical proved this as I switched between tasks of reading and working different processes. From social past times and volunteering in my local community, many of my peers can agree I am a social person and enjoy growing relationships with those I am around.

    -Overall, made sure the quality of each material tested met the standard. I worked with an MTS Device to test new and existing samples for crash test dummies. Once data was collected and analyzed data for different materials I could get the average compression force, tensile and tear, along with other statistical evaluations. If the material was not meeting standard, I would help find new material to sample that could be used as a future replacement. Due to COVID-19, the internship had end early.
