Current• Prepared and formatted financial data using Alteryx and Tableau to provide creative solutions and analysis through data visualizations designed for actionable insights. Specific projects included:• Provided vision towards and executed a plan for an integrated President’s Annual Report to display and link significant data storytelling points with story features to showcase Compassion’s progress and initiatives by working with key communicators and analysts across the organization. • Worked extensively with key Compassion staff to develop expense dashboards to manage variances.• With funding partners in Europe, Asia, and Australia, the Contributions per Beneficiary report was updated to provide more insight.• Innovatively worked with the Building Services team utilizing Tableau to develop a room finder solution.• Collaborated with Treasury to develop reports that demonstrated hedging effectiveness and tracked cash and investments for the Finance and Audit Committee. • Piloted and tested user interaction with informational dashboards and led training sessions for Tableau dashboard usage, ensuring end-user competence.• Created multiple operational dashboards in Tableau, allowing National Offices and marketing to monitor timely completion of reports, financial trends and funding toward National Office targets.• Led collaborative efforts to work cross-culturally with field staff from 26 countries to understand their data needs and ensure data validity and accuracy thereby creating buy-in for people to act upon the data.• Orchestrated efforts with IT to extract financial information regarding budgets, revenues, forecasting and expenses into a Digital Virtualization Layer to develop financial dashboards in Tableau.• Collaborated to develop and implement a Complementary Interventions Strategy template with IT using the Agile process which has been rolled out to the field for a globally standardized way to report field prioritized needs.
