Primary objectiveLead a team to provide reliable performance narrative, analysis and evidence to support informed operational and strategic decision making, and building the Department’s evidence driven business intelligence capability.Key duties and responsibilities1. Develop performance frameworks to ensure effective performance monitoring across the Department’s portfolio areas and contribute to the ongoing development of sophisticated performance measures and monitoring techniques designed to enhance organisational performance and client service delivery. 2. Conduct detailed risk and performance analysis on trends within the Department’s portfolios and provide timely, high level advice to responsible work units and managers. 3. Manage the development of new and existing performance indicators, innovative reporting specifications, analysis and narrative to contribute to the management, delivery and evaluation of the Department’s performance.4. Liaise effectively with other areas of the Department and other Government agencies to ensure the timely provision of strategic performance information relevant to monitoring outcomes and reporting requirements both locally and nationally.5. Manage the Performance Analysis team, providing Performance Analysts with mentoring and professional development opportunities.6.
