With experience built upon a lifelong passion and curiosity for technology, as well as professional certificaiton and direct involvement in the IT industry, I am able to wear the hat of a first-level hardware troubleshooter, a network technician, sysadmin, customer service rep, and many more all at once. I have over 14 years combined experience assembling, configuring, and instaling/mainting Windows personal computers, and similar familiarity with MacOS, and GNU/Linux systems. Lately I have also become an effective software developer. Primarily, I use both Java and Python. However, along my learning carreer I have also picked up more universal problem solving abilities as well as the skill to learn new related concepts quickly. Although I do not use these langugaes actively, I now know how to interpret the basics of most object-oriented languages such as C++ and Javascript. I have also dabbled into functional programming concepts and have a basic understanding of languages like Lisp. I now hope to use these skills to solve real problems and provide value to others. I do my best to be an active member of the tech community. I love to spend time answering questions and guiding new users as it solidifies my own understandings and tests my communication skills. I have previously worked multilaterally in the network infrastructure installations industry as a purchasing agent, which requires deep knowledge of the components we sell, the laws and industry standards surrounding them, and new developments which can change things at a moment's notice.
