Successfully completed an internship in the summer of 2021, then returned for the summer of 2022 and continued part-time remotely to current times. I carried out GIS maintenance requests at client requests, developed new tools using the Data Interoperability extension for ArcGIS Pro, and investigated and implemented the use of the ESRI Data Reviewer extension.

Worked as the TA for GIS I at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, as part of the awarded assistantship. Worked with students one-on-one to explain complicated GIS terms and principles, and holding regular office hours to troubleshoot problems.

Tutor for both introductory economics courses, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Organized meetings with students to go through course material and review economic concepts.

Worked on a project with Dr. Thomas Kemp and Dr. Matthew Jewell regarding the capability of the University of Wisconsin system to respond to crises. Collected geospatial data from the Census and hospitals, then used that to create visualizations and estimates of the capacity of the universities to assist with emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Worked with Dr. Matthew Haffner on performing a survey and research study of perceptions of cycling safety in Eau Claire. I distributed fliers, created visualizations using the ggplot2 and leaflet packages for R, and worked on the manuscript for publishing.

Teacher's assistant for GIS I, then GIS II. Produced rubrics, graded assignments, explain GIS concepts and troubleshooted problems.

Peer mentor for new students who are recipients of the FFWS grant. Planned events, established relationships with students, and worked to create a welcoming atmosphere on campus.
