Prior to joining Motley Rice, I was a partner for more than a decade at Caplin & Drysdale, Chtd., a Washington, D.C., law firm where I spent much of my time litigating asbestos bankruptcy cases involving large manufacturers. During that time I tried five significant asbestos bankruptcy cases to judgment in my clients’ favor, each with more than $1 billion at stake, and worked with Motley Rice attorneys on behalf of investors in several large securities fraud cases as well.I frequently speak at asbestos litigation and bankruptcy conferences, and have been featured as a guest lecturer at Georgetown University, George Washington University and University of Baltimore law schools. While in law school I was a member of the Virginia Law Review and the Order of the Coif, and was a scholarship track and cross country athlete at the University of Virginia.* Please remember that every case is different.
