As a Research Associate at EpiCypher, I leverage a deep understanding of biochemical methodology and my strong molecular biology background to develop and validate novel epigenetic assays and reagents. I joined EpiCypher in May 2023, after gaining one year of experience as a Technologist at Labcorp, where I performed molecular testing for patients with genetic diseases. I also have six months of experience as a Clinical Technologist at Greene Resources, where I supported the OTS (Occupational Testing Services) department within Labcorp. During my time at OTS I utilized ELISA and spectrophotometry to conduct drug testing for patients. I graduated with a BS in Biology from Catawba College in May 2021, where I learned the fundamentals of biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology and microbiology. I am passionate about advancing the field of epigenetics and contributing to the discovery of new therapeutics for human diseases. I value teamwork, innovation, quality and attention to detail in my work.
