- Worked with logistics professionals at Bayer Crop Science to pinpoint and solve problems involving lag time in EDI transactions between Bayer Crop Science and one of its 3PLs.-Researched "leading practices," performed root-cause analysis, and designed a business case showing cost-analysis/cost savings-Examined current process mappings in regards to late rail shipments/payments and pinpointed areas of concern in terms of bottlenecking/lag time -Created a new process map which eliminated the bottlenecks, thus creating an overall more efficient and flowing process-New process offered a potential savings of $30,000 annually and an 89% decrease in late payments-Presented case-study/findings to panel of Bayer Crop Science supply chain executives at end of Spring 2011 semester
