I am a third year UCSD Mathematics - Computer Science student currently working on personal projects in web development to expand my programming palette. Currently, my hope is to break into the tech industry through internships either in Machine Learning or Web Development since these two are my main interests as of now. Many of my projects involve collaborations specifically with my twin brother Justin Hernandez since we both share the same interests. Many of the current projects that I have been developing were all self taught while I learn all of the theory based elements of Computer Science at UCSD. I also really enjoy Mathematics and hope to be able to integrate what I have learned as of late in the programming projects that I will make in the future. Artificial Intelligence is a field that will certainly satisfy this need of mine so I am keeping my eye out for anything related as well. Outside of programming, I also enjoy running and try to share that passion through the STRIDES Running Club as the Treasurer for this club on the UCSD campus. I feel this club is a great way for me to improve my leadership and communication skills since we host groups of around 15 runners a day. In addition to running, I also enjoy playing video games as a pastime. My dream aspirations are being able to incorporate either running or video games into my future career as a Software Developer. If not, that is okay as long as I enjoy myself as a developer.
