As a Regulatory Affairs Assistant I am responsible for supporting OEM regulatory registrations within new territories and maintaining existing registrations. As a Junior Product Developer I was responsible for taking products through the product lifecycle from conception through to product withdrawal. This included generating concept designs and detailed design, through to rapid prototyping and testing. I frequently liaised with our Chinese subsidiary to effectively communicate project timelines and design changes to ensure project schedules were adhered to and tracked.Part of this role also included product improvement and complaint resolution. I worked closely with the Quality Department to assess root causes for customer complaints and advised on remedial actions to ensure the issue was resolved in a timely matter. This ranged from altering the design itself to using alternative materials to eliminate the problem the customer was facing. I have acted as an internal auditor for the Quality Department and assisted with key responsibilities such as complaint logging, raising change controls, raising CAPA's and raising non conformances. This role also included maintaining and creating technical files with my responsibilities including creating product development specifications, risk management reports and clinical evaluations.

My internship with Stoked Ventures has tasked me with completing a market research report to help to determine the commercial viability of a product. I have also been responsible for organising and executing interviews with people of interest. As well as arranging and leading focus groups to gather insights into the customer perception of the product.

Throughout my degree I have taken part in a student internship placement with Metaphysis LLP. This involved spending time in their offices to carry out numerous tasks. One of which was to visually inspect new components and reporting any issues or defects to the company director. I also had to package and label the medical devices to be sent to the customer, as well as logging any unused stock into the company inventory.
