I develop and create the curriculum, and facilitate courses for leadership development, Organizational Development, and Behavioral Change Management. I am also responsible for hiring additional instructors as needed.

I support the Identity Access Management team. The focus included management of all change activities/communications for initiating/optimizing access reviews, developing a standardized process to manage access, and multiple efforts of transitioning legacy tools to new Identity Management tools.

With visibility to all IT operations, Nathan provided guidance and support to transition the IT organization from waterfall to a high performing agile/scrum organization. Activities include development of scrum teams, scrum Masters, product owners, scrum/agile coaches, guilds, and personal development road maps. Other change activity included communications, assessments, developing sponsor/agent networks, work/training/implementation plans, and organizational development. 2019/2020 Changes also focused on migration to (Microsoft) cloud technologies and adoption of related tools (MS 360, PowerApps, PowerBI, Azure DevOps).

Nathan had the opportunity to identify gaps in current state practices of clients, including: finance, operations, technology, succession planning, and policy & procedures. Once identified, Nathan coordinated with client leadership to develop a desired future-state and create a change plan to reach their goals. This was done by applying strategies that helped drive employee awareness of the change, which created desire for adoption.

As a Subject Matter Expert in ITSM (IT Service Management) , Nathan was charged with the task to optimize policies and procedures for the organization that manages all of the fuel transactions in North America. Facilitated meetings with operations, and support teams. Identified key sponsors to drive change awareness. Facilitated separate training sessions for end user groups and management groups. Developed maturity model to sustain and continuously improve the process.

Identified Sponsors and Stakeholders, change impact, organizational bandwidth/competentcy, and coaching/training opportunities. Developed resistance management plans, implementation plans, and adoption metrics for teams across the globe (North/South America, China, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, India, South Africa, Nigeria, Iran, London, Australia).

Team = 80 | Impact = ~6k Employees/ContractorsAs a Change Management Lead for the IT enterprise and process control network (PCN), Nathan participated in the strategic implementation that impacted over 6000 end users and helped develop eight new organizations within the business unit. Facilitated leadership meetings between “silo’d” organizations to foster relationships that were critical to change. Developed policies and procedures to drive adoption and fill gaps in governmental compliance for new organizations. Improved policies and procedures to increase safety, documentation, and compliance for existing organizations. Was key contributor in development of cross-functional advisory boards to manage future changes in the overlapping IT and PCN environments.

Facilitated discussion with business owners to understand and align their business vision and strategy, prioritize their initiatives, and develop programs/projects to realize their objectives. Performed gap analysis, business case development, budget planning, and defined support programs and business capabilities.

Responsible for coordinating and managing the business relationship for 24 Hour Fitness and Macy’s. Project management, program implementation, systems training, and adoption for national roll out of MRO (Maintenence, Repair, and Operations) procurement system.Implemented online procurement system for the facilities department for both 24-Hour Fitness and Macy’s nationwide.Procurement system included executive leadership engagement, system design, user dashboard implementation on existing company systems, end-user change management, and training.Travelled contiguous United States to engage regional/district management and facilitate onsite end-user training.

Costco required multi-talented management to coordinate meetings, facilitate training, update certifications, and manage operations for employees in assigned departments. Worked at six different warehouse locations with promotions received at four locations.Coordinated and managed the opening of a new warehouse in Citrus Heights, CA from ground-breaking to opening day.
