During this internship, I was able to learn and actively participate in the entire credit process. This includes the entire prospect phase, underwriting, structuring and pricing the product, final closing, and then finally into monitoring or renewal of the relationship. I have had a focus on the underwriting aspect such as the ability to spread and analyze financial data.Along with this, I am gaining a thorough understanding of all types of commercial loans. This includes understanding and identifying credit risk associated with the different types, financial analysis of the specific credit, and how it should be properly structured.
