I first became interested in the entertainment industry and media, especially film studies, in 2012. ​​However, throughout the years, I also started to become passionate about business and marketing. I took Coursera classes to learn more about business and marketing, and, additionally, completed an internship multiple internships, along with my school work.First, I worked at In-N-Out Marketing and Corporate Communications Agency, where I experienced first-hand what it means to run a marketing agency. At my post, I was responsible for many meetings and events with companies such as Microsoft. With all I have learned there, I applied and was accepted to a position at O3 Media Group. There, I was responsible for keeping track of two big projects: a Turkish television show named Aziz, and a Turkish version of New Amsterdam named Hayat Bugün. My internship at O3 Media, which produces Turkish TV series for streaming channels such as Netflix, let me gain first-hand experience in observing the rapid evolution from traditional media to digital streaming. It let me understand how budgeting, casting, and cultural considerations are handled by the production companies.I learned Adobe Premiere Pro on my own and broadcast MUN events on internet media for two years as Head of Press. As MUN's Secretary-General, I was responsible for mediating between the delegates, which allowed me to use my leadership and communication abilities, while mentoring incoming freshmen at school has already helped me build empathy for others. As a diligent, conscientious, and hardworking scholarship student, I've been able to balance school and the conservatory with my social interests, which has improved my time management abilities.
