Managed the research, design, and procurement activities for new value-based care programs (VBP) and mixed-methods evaluation processes for existing programs to advance agency strategic priorities related to access and affordability of care. Served as a Developer and Evaluator on major agency requests-for-proposals associated with procuring consulting services to advance VBP program design. Provided actuarial and analytic support for TennCare’s VBP programs to complete annual rebasing and thresholding processes. Served as a subject matter expert on VBP to external stakeholders, agency staff, and state partners.

Oversaw patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment activities for organ transplant-affiliated clinical trials. Supervised a team of research assistants to ensure compliance with study protocols and ethical clinical research standards. Managed external vendor relationships, including contract research organizations, laboratories, and external clinical sites, to ensure seamless collaboration and adherence to trial protocols. Collaborated on high-impact research papers, conference posters, and presentations, resulting in 9 publications in leading journals.

Supported research at a non-profit healthcare system spanning 6 states. Collaborated on the planning of the 2020 Utah Health Services Research Conference, leading the abstract selection process, conference communications, and sponsorship activities.
