I am a writer, grantmaker, and lover of all things pink. As a Black, fat, queer millennial, I use my role as a grantmaker and writer to empower my own and others often ignored identities. Currently, I work at Borealis Philanthropy, an intermediary redefining the grantmaking and the philanthropic sector. As a Program Associate for the Transforming Movements Fund, I uplift the movement work of queer and trans leaders and work to create more effective and participatory grantmaking practices. I also do communications contract work for small and mid-size organizations, helping them tell the unique stories of their organization and constituents. I am currently doing writing work for Nexus Community Partners in St. Paul, MN and have formerly contracted with Pollen Midwest, Joi Unlimited, and jabber logic.
