TinQwise and Qollab merged during my employment at Qollab. I am continuing my role as UX Lead for our Learning Experience Platform and work closely with the developers in our Product team (see below for the full description).

After my Front-End course at Noah Road I wanted to immerse myself further into coding so I started as a front-end developer at Qollab. As the 'technology department' of sister company TinQwise we started off building custom e-learning solutions for TinQwise clients. As a company we later decided to create our own Learning Experience Platform (LXP), to be sold off the shelf and replacing the existing custom e-learning solutions. With my very limited developer knowledge I became part of the front-end development team and was forced to quickly deep dive into React and React Hooks, Styled Components and Git, among others.After coding for two years I became the single UX designer of our LXP which is what I still do today. My activities consist of feature concepting, wire-framing and design, documenting the LXP design system, creating user flows, writing epics and user stories, refining tickets, testing, hosting design workshops with clients and conducting user research amongst LXP clients and their end users.

During my period at TinQwise we developed custom web applications for learning and behavioural change, among others for clients in the retail sector (Rituals, IKEA, Hunkemöller, PVH, G-Star), finance (ABN Amro, ING, Rabobank), the government, recruitment agencies (Randstad, YoungCapital) and healthcare institutions. During my three years at TinQwise my work mainly involved UX/UI design (wireframing, user flows, graphic design) and concepting. These activities required me to work closely with a team of developers and with the client. Next to my main activities I also did animations, photo & video editing and built solutions with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Lectora.

During this seven-month internship I was part of the Brand Development team of UK's No.1 Hair Styling Brand VO5. I was involved in market research, data collection and analysis, general project management, artwork creation, on-pack text creation, project rollout to countries, strategic planning and administrative tasks. After two months of my internship our team of three was reduced to two, due to a long maternity leave of our Brand Manager, and I had the great opportunity to take up more responsibilities within these multidisciplinary teams.
