Chief Financial Officer
Current- Lead the accounting team in overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including general ledger management, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP. - Direct long-term financial planning and forecasting to enhance organizational strategy, resulting in improved financial performance and resource allocation.- Facilitate financial literacy across all organizational levels by counseling team members on budgets, forecasts, and Group Retro Trust distributions, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability. - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions, auditors, investment bankers, and Board of Directors to ensure effective financial governance and oversight. - Analyze financial performance and generate comprehensive reports for senior leadership, highlighting trends, costs, and compliance with budgets to inform strategic decision-making. - Implement robust risk management practices by optimizing company development initiatives and financial health, ensuring stability and growth. - Oversee external audits and demonstrate strong vendor management skills, successfully managing multiple relationships that impact benefit offerings and overall financial performance. - Promote a culture of ethical leadership, fostering open communication and accountability among teams.- Establish and track KPIs and metrics defined in the company scorecard, driving performance improvements across financial operations.- Embrace and embody our GIFTED values by actively participating in initiatives to enhance Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Leadership within the organization.
