Gardiners Creek (KooyongKoot) Regional Collaboration formally launched on the 4th April, 2023. This is a new, important alliance focusing on protecting and improving the amenity, environmental and biodiversity values of the Gardiners Creek catchment.I, as the lead, help to facilitate conversations amongst the 16-member alliance and in doing so help to continue momentum, through actions linked to the collaborations visions and objectives.The collaboration includes the following members: AFL Victoria, Bicycle Network, Boroondara City Council, Cricket Victoria, Deakin University, Field Naturalists Club of Victoria, Football Victoria, City of Glen Eira, Golf Australia, KooyongKoot Alliance, Melbourne Water, City of Monash, City of Stonnington, Whitehorse City Council, Yarra Riverkeeper and Yarra Valley Water.

As Litter Action Lead on the Chain of Ponds program my main role is to work with the COP Litter Working Group and key stakeholders across the catchment to reduce litter entering the creek and being passed down to Port Phillip Bay.
