Managed the Visitor Engagement team, co-ordinating a range of public programme events (including family friendly and family learning) and exhibitions for visitors to the stunning building and unparalleled collection.Increased social media engagement substantially. Wrote copy for printed 'What's On' guide and details on events and exhibitions for library website.Liaison with external artists, festivals and agencies to facilitate some of the events and exhibitions.(part time)

Salford

Co-ordinated HLF-funded oral history project, managing volunteers who I trained to interview people who used to work at three now-lost Salford workplaces. Also co-ordinated the partnership with a local high school to create podcasts inspired by the 1950s Ewan MacColl Radio Ballads, using parts of these interviews.In addition, I created the project website http://invisiblehistoriesproject.wordpress.com(part time)
