Designed and built a medical device for the United States Department of Defense Special Operations.Collaborated as a team of 5 UT students on the project. I drafted all components of our selected design using SolidWorks and assisted in all design documentation and ideation. Our prototype was received with praise by all supervisors.

I evaluated the efficacy of multiple cyclic peptide preparatory treatments in order to increase accuracy in Mass Spectrometry protein profiling. I learned to use the Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Elite Mass Spectrometer as well as the accompanying software for use in sample analysis. I then analyzed the computational data to perform label-free proteome.
