Bulletproof Group Ltd via acquisition of Cloud House Ltd.Xero V5 Cloud Migration ProjectXero is a small business accounting platform that links small businesses to accountants.The V5 Project was Xero's migration from a previous Cloud provider to the AWS Cloud.My roles were varied throughout the project, including:* AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) Cross-Account Design, and Implementation,* AWS IAM day-to-day operations, and automation, with a focus on user experience,* DevOps Team co-leadership, as liaison to upper management, and facilitation of technical team meetings.

This role involved working with a team to provide VPC design, EC2 instance deployment,and troubleshooting to clients. Additionally, infrastructure reviews were carried out forclients periodically to guide continuous improvement.

IT Security Consultancy.Major project included design, build, and operations training/handover of several network security appliances. This included high level design, detailed design, as-built, and operations guide documentation.

On Call Application Support.This role involved maintaining the continual operation of internally developed applicationsfor clients. If software faults in an application were identified then there would be additionaldevelopment to resolve those issues.During this period 24/7 on-call support was rostered within the team. Call-outs requiredcoordinating with external clients’ technical teams to fault diagnose, and then resolvethe issues. Where the clients customers would be effected by the fault the issue wouldbe escalated to both Fronde’s and the client’s management level.Client Security ProjectThis role involved the initial design, deployment, and testing of a DMZ to be introducedas a pilot to harden a client’s Internet facing systems. This included learning to operatevarious network technologies, such as F5 load balancers, and Palo Alto firewalls in a virtualenvironment.Client Development ProjectThis role involved assisting a development team by using AWS EC2 to operate a fleetof instances running different versions of their application. Assistance was provided tostandardise and document deployments, monitor the logs of the application, and providefeedback to the team’s agile development process
