Each time, the challenge has been to steer away from the established norms and deliver something new and unexpected. As an outcomes-focused senior IT leader, I bring wealth of experience in identifying value and driving transformational change. It creates a plurality of ideas which can transform businesses and create breakthrough opportunities.My time at FTSE 10 companies British American Tobacco and AstraZeneca gave me amazing experience of identifying value and IT enabled business change. However, in 2010, I took the opportunity to join a team I'd admired for many years. When I joined EAS, they had just launched the Essential Project as an open-source Enterprise Architecture platform. I lead on developing the user experience and design for the product and worked with the team to transform the product into the world's most popular open-source EA Platform. I'm now managing IT operations for the commercial Essential Cloud platform. Essential Cloud is a global SaaS application used by some of the largest brands and government organisations across the world. For the second time, it has been recognised by Gartner as Visionary in the Gartner MQ.We are continuing to expand the platform and reach new markets. This brings new challenges and learning opportunities every day. I work with an amazing team of talented people who are all aligned to grow the business and deliver the best possible experience for customers. This is what keeps me engaged.
