Shannon Nelson is an attorney focusing her practice in the areas of civil litigation including motor vehicle accident, including commercial transportation and trucking, construction, personal injury, general premises liability, and subrogation as well as workers’ compensation. She has handled cases at all levels through to the Minnesota Supreme Court. She is admitted to practice law in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the United States District Court, District of Minnesota. She is the Co-Chair of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association's Motor Vehicle Accident Committee.Shannon has been a regular speaker on various workers’ compensation topics, and has given presentations for numerous organizations including the Ramsey and Hennepin County Bar Associations, The Workers’ Compensation Institute as well as various insurance companies. In the past, Shannon has been on the 2nd and 19th Judicial District Ethics Committees where she investigated ethical complaints brought against attorneys, and provided recommendations to the Board of Professional Responsibility.
