About Nichole Fraser, M.Sc.

I work with Indigenous communities across Canada to support their self-determined paths. This includes organizational development, leveraging regulatory processes and other systems to meet Indigenous Nations' well-being goals, and planning for community and economic development. My specialty is working with communities to research and communicate traditional knowledge, socio-economic, cumulative effects, and other Indigenous knowledge for impact assessments or to meet other community needs. I bring a strategic lens to my work, which has been used to identify community values and interests, determine potential impacts to way of life, and identify appropriate mitigation and accommodation for major infrastructure developments in the mining, energy and other major project sectors. My role as a consultant is to support when extra capacity is needed and to create plans for lasting capacity to be built where needed. This also involves assisting Indigenous communities with organizational needs assessments, consultation protocol and process fine tuning, lands department capacity-building, and data sovereignty support.Contact me to find out more: www.sharedvaluesolutions.com or nichole.fraser@sharedvaluesolutions.com
