Hello! I'm Nathan Yao. I'm a current Master's Computer Science student at Purdue University, graduating in May 2025. I also got my Bachelor's in CS at Purdue in May 2024.I've interned at FINRA as a Software Developer and Data Engineer.- As a Software Developer, I utilized Java, Python, and AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS) to engineer a solution for slow UI test suites by allowing tests to execute in parallel.- As a Data Engineer, I designed, built, and maintained data pipelines using Python (Pandas) and Dataiku to create and enhance Grafana dashboards, as part of annual departmental objectives.My passion for what I do stems from the belief that CS and Software Development are creative art forms, where the proper combination of technical skills and imagination can lead to impactful solutions.
