Creating new ideas for how to gather, test, and display data of all kinds. Managing our external development team with expectations, billing, and prioritizing key elements. Training of all personnel, creating manuals, and guides.- Responsible for the development of our new remote pig tracking technology, from product inception, feedback to our engineering developers, guiding their process, and ensuring we reach a commercial product in a timely manner.

I was a summer student for 2014, and was responsible for the deployment of a new server that hosted a software company's product, PARCview.The company who produces the software, Capstone, specializes in data analytics that draw from many different sources, such as PHD, PI, SQL, or Oracle databases.I created dashboards that were pertinent to thermal oil operators. These dashboards hosted data tags that could be updated from the database automatically, creating an easy way for managers to view important information all on one screen.I also analyzed P&ID drawings for a major facility and created dashboards that would be more useful at the lower level of an operator or plant manager. I learned how to easily reference different drawings and engineering standards.

Excel Geophysics performs gravity and magnetic surveying for exploration companies. I filled a variety of roles while employed by Excel.I worked as a field operator; where I collected gravitational and GPS data for extended periods of time in remote locations. These surveys were performed to collect gravitational data, which was then used to find mining targets, or geological structures such as oil reservoirs, sink holes, water, or other anomalies.In the office I worked with gravitational modelling, magnetic modelling, 3D modelling, writing final reports, generating figures, and creating maps. I created a new way to interpret and view gravitational data using an audio visual presentation. These presentations were useful for non-technical people who needed a more visual representation of the gravitational modelling completed. I gave several of these presentations to the president of a client, and they were distributed to shareholders to help with monetary policy.
