Nicholas is the P-8 Production Delivery and Fleet Retrofit Sr Manager. In this role, Nicholas is responsible for Boeing’s P-8 Production Deliveries, including the U.S. Navy, Australia, UK, Norway and South Korea and other Foreign Military Sales customers. He also manages all post-delivery retrofit efforts for the U.S. Navy and all international customers. Prior to joining the P-8 Program, Barr was the Spacecraft Integration Lead for the U.S. Air Force’s GPS IIF, WGS and NASA’s TDRS programs in El Segundo, CA at the Satellite Development Center. He was responsible for maintaining successful build flows, final integration and test for each program. Prior to his elevation into a leadership role at the Satellite Development Center, Barr was a Quality Assurance Inspector and also served as a Space Vehicle Technician. In these roles he supported spacecraft payload and bus module structures builds, payload and bus final integration, antenna and solar wing installation and deployment tests.
