I'm a Controls Technician at Animax Designs with a solid foundation in Mechatronics Engineering Technology from Purdue University's Polytechnic Institute. I thrive in roles that allow me to design, problem-solve, and innovate, especially within the world of animatronics. My passion for animatronics goes back to childhood Disney trips, where I first experienced the magic of combining engineering with imagination and animation-a magic I now aspire to bring to life for others.In my current role, I'm dedicated to creating efficient, reliable systems and finding inventive solutions to project challenges. Some of my recent achievements include designing and building a 24V electrical cabinet with adaptive input for global compatibility, as well as updating its design to reflect evolving company standards. I'm constantly seeking to improve our processes, whether it's sourcing cost-effective replacement parts, enhancing clarity and accuracy in electrical drawings, or establishing a QC system for testing cables that saves both time and resources.I also have hands-on experience working on a job site, where I collaborate with local teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and ensure seamless project installations. Current-Engineered and assembled a 24V electrical cabinet for a 2 motor drive and LED DMX controller. This cabinet can be connected to 120-240 VAC power to accommodate for different country standards as it is part of a traveling show. The company ordered a second of these projects so I updated the cabinet to our new standards that developed over time.-Identified.
