Worked with a capstone team of Wentworth Institute of Technology students as well as faculty at Wentworth to design and build a working prototype of a Thermal Vibrating Foam Roller for athletic recovery. Foam rollers have been used by athletes and physical therapy clients for over forty years, and with the addition of the heat and vibration all-in-one product, it is the first of its kind to ever be produced. Reviewed and updated AutoCAD/Revit drawings for the mechanical group. I revised finished contract drawings (As-Builts) for official record keeping. I introduced fire protection design ideas for client projects and help drawing them in AutoCAD. Always conducted work while following ASME guidelines at all times. As my learning progressed I was able to go on site visits and assess existing piping/duct-work hangers to make sure the entire system was supported correctly, not just in certain parts. I also set up a directory in Revit of all different kinds of equipment details and converted the details from the AutoCAD directory to the Revit directory. Laser Distance Meters are used to measure linear distance. I receive information about different devices that have been checked-in for calibration. I run them through the necessary calibration tests, and verify that the measurements taken are within the industry specification. I diagnose causes of error for equipment failing calibration tests. After the equipment has passed the calibration tests, I certify that the equipment is within the industry specification and start the process of returning it to the customer. Show less
