About Nicholas Tay

My professional story has been defined by one managing and delivering operations for over 15 years. It has also taken me through 5 countries, from the private sector into non-profit and now, the public. It has blessed me with established proficiencies in general business management, administrative and corporate services, to then let me deftly parachute and succeed in different challenging environments. It has allowed me to develop systems-thinking and analytical competencies, skills sharpened by collaborating with stakeholders and vendors in the same eco-system to grow and quietly achieve success.I have had the joy of troubleshooting and providing solutions, designing processes for, and engaging a wide spectrum of customers and clients on the frontline; providing decision-making that has also been seasoned by 24/7 cycles and connectivity that ripples across the globe. What my teammates and friends would describe of me is that of someone who is forward-looking, meticulous, who serves with integrity and with dedication. My fortune is that this story has largely arced toward giving back to the community and being of service to others: the social mission is important to me. I look forward to opportunities to helping others and improving the systems that help them.

I personally led the set up of 2 of the centres, one of which is now the single OC left after the reorganization and consolidation of efforts. As a side project, I also successfully designed 2 sets of contracts for the same single OC, including the planning and execution of an open tender process.
