I was an associate producer at WBUR and NPR's On Point Radio, a daily news and culture talk show broadcast on more than 290 stations nationwide.

Covered restaurants, bars and other eating establishments in the city of Detroit for Eater Detroit, a part of the Curbed network of city blogs.

I helped create and produce digital versions of arts and life reporting from across the network of NPR reporters and editors.

I helped pitch stories, record and produce feature pieces, book guests and plan long-term enterprise projects for broadcasts on metropolitan Detroit’s main NPR affiliate.

I researched and co-wrote a comprehensive investigative piece on minority ballot access in the American southeast. I also developed a newsroom-wide social media strategy, co-edited project blog and wrote daily posts on trends in social media surrounding our project’s key issues.

Developed focused story ideas, produced significant features and news copy for one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious daily collegiate newspapers.

Pitched, wrote and edited stories as an intern with the Journal’s Speakeasy arts and culture blog. Also coordinated the site social media presence.

I helped plan lessons, write curriculum and teach classes for a comprehensive six-week English Language Learner camp at the Mission District Pirate Store and Writing Workshop in San Francisco.
