I am a visual artist based in Cleveland, Ohio currently pursuing a BFA in drawing from the Cleveland Institute of Art. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2021. Within my personal studio practice, I am interested in themes of community and human connection. Most recently I have been exploring the use of porches as a metaphor for those themes, allowing the viewer to bring their own perspective on what the porch has meant to them in their own lives. Another way I investigate community values is through murals and public art-- investigating what it means to be a part of a community, and furthermore, what it means to have artwork exist in different communities. I have exhibited work in group shows such as 74th Student Independent Exhibition and Infecting the Human Experience, both at the Cleveland Institute of Art. After graduation, I plan to continue my studio practice, focusing on public murals and commissions.
