My role as Sales Manager for the Sydney Hilton required a need for expertise in variety of areas.My speciality, and my greatest enjoyment, came from co-ordinating events for the Hilton. Over the years I co-ordinated the famous "Hilton Cabaret", numerous exhibitions, and countless large and small conferences for businesses and community groups.My management roles also extended to negotiating Air Crew contracts, account management for all Inbound Operators, and promoting the Sydney Hilton to the Corporate Marketplace.

After arriving in Australia in 1982, I commenced with The Regent Hotel (now Four Seasons) as a Banqueting Sales Executive. I was a part of the Management team responsible for setting up the conference facilities for The Regent Sydney. Later, I had the honour of opening and managing "The Don Burrows Supper Club".
