I have been a racquet stringer since the late 1980s, as a very active competitive squash player and later a squash and racketball coach, I found that stringing my own racquets saved me a lot of expense. After a while, I started doing other peoples rackets from time to time and eventually became qualified through the United Kingdom Racquet Stringers Association (UKRSA) as both a Professional Stringer and Racquet Technician. I will string any Tennis, Squash, Badminton or Racketball racquet with any type of string that you require. I have extensive experience stringing on the Pro Squash Wolrd Tour since 2007, 3 World Opens, 11 British Opens, several British Grand Prix, over 10 British National Championships and the World Super Series Finals. Since retiring from the Police Force, between 2012 and 2022 I was involved in the European Racquet Stringers Association (ERSA) initially by successfully passing the Master Raquet Technician (MRT) qualification in Spain (very nice) and subsequently being asked to plan, write, train and examine a new suite of qualifications to add Squash stringing to the original Tennis. It is now possible for candidates to attain any of the existing levels of certification as a squash Stringer in the same way as a Tennis Stringer always has done. There are now 7 levels in Squash stringing as well as Tennis. In May 2017, I became the first holder of the top award, Master Pro-Tour Squash Stringer, globally, and currently there are no others.(2023). In 2022 I left ERSA and became the Global Squash Manager for the Global Racket Stringers Association International

12 years in the West End as a constable. 2 years in Newham as a Sergeant. the other 16 years in SO19, CO19 then SC&O19, 4 as a constable and the last 10 as a sergeant. Specialised in Firearms Training and for the last 6 years the training and QA of some of the best firearms instructors in the world.

Straight from school I was a employed as a teacher to assist with PE, Sports Coaching, particularly, Rugby and Cricket and a small amount of classroom lessons in English and Geography. Initially for 6 moths but stayed for considerably longer, at the request of the Headmaster.
