Ever since I was little, I have had a great interest in the Maths and Sciences. In school, they have always been my favorite classes, and the concepts always came easy to me. I love learning about how the world around me works and how I can help make it better. In high school, one of my favorite classes has been my physics class. I have learned a lot from them and had a lot of fun while doing it, with a lot or experiments and engineering projects to help us learn and have a good time while doing so. Also having participated in my school’s new (as of 2015) Tech Club, I have been provided with more opportunities when it came to being around computers, and gave me more equipment to work with.At home, I spend a lot of time tinkering with my old computers and parts, trying to make the best thing I can out of what I have, whether that's working with the hardware or the software, I would do it. And within my family and friends, I am the go-to guy for computer problems, as I am both great with computers and a good problem solver, having inherited it from all of my tinkering and trying to make things work, as they usually don’t go as smoothly as originally hoped when I start a project. A few summers ago, I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge of computers and technology by working at a local overnight Boy Scout camp. It was here that I started up a STEM program. I loved teaching the kids about all of the aspects of STEM. This experience helped me learn more about the things I love by teaching and getting kids interested in learning about the program and what STEM has to offer. Computers have always been my passion and I have always loved keeping an eye on the cutting edge of technology. I'm currently a student of UMASS Boston working on a major in Information Technology, and in the next three years I hope start my career working in computer hardware and software solutions, management, and repair.
