Nick LawrenceBEng (Hons), BA (Hons), Dip Arch, RIBADirectorNick first joined A&Q Partnership in 1998 whilst studying Engineering at Bristol University. He studied Architecture at London Metropolitan University and qualified as an Architect in 2008. In 2010 he left the practice to travel and returned to form his own company, Oramaa Lawrence Architects in Bristol whilst retaining a close working association with A&Q. Remaining in Bristol, Nick rejoined A&Q in 2015 as a Director.Nick has worked on a broad range of projects of various scales under a number of different contract types. He has experience working on both contemporary and listed buildings, among others at the award-winning Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, London. More recent projects include Phase 2 of the Kidbrooke Estate redevelopment and one of Europe’s tallest green walls at Vantage Point, Digby Road. He has more recently combined working on small private residential projects with larger, more complex developments in London.Nick also has experience in competition, winning the AMD Open Architecture Challenge in 2009, and was shortlisted for the Atlantic College competition organised by the RIBA in 2006. He has exhibited work at the RIBA in Portland Place and Islington Library.Nick is currently working on Goodman’s Fields, for Berkeley Homes (NE London) a development of over 1000 high quality apartments in podium blocks and 22 storey towers, along with retail and commercial space.
