Experienced Engineering Manager with a demonstrated history of working as part of and with Engineering Teams . Skilled in Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Management, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.

I started with Mesta Wood in 2002 as part of the Mulit skilled Engineering team, I gained vast experience of maintaining and installing fast moving automatic production lines. In 2009 after the successful completion of an NVQ in Team Leading and Business Improvement Techniques I earned a promotion to Engineeering Manager, taking charge of a team of 8 Engineers and 1 site facilities technician. In 2011 I also took on the responsibiliy for the Engineering Department at our Grangemouth site. During my time at Metsa I oversaw the successful installation of 2 new production lines and planned 9 highly successful Maintenance Shutdowns. A major part of my role was to actively progress in all site Health and Safety initiatives and work on Continuous Improvement projects.

I Served a 4 year Multi skilled apprenticeship, working along side a team of 35 Maintenance Engineers. Within these 4 years I attended Midcheshire college where I gained ONC, HNC and NVQ level 3.
