As Executive Producer at WTAE in Pittsburgh I am responsible for overseeing a team of reporters, producers, news anchors, photographers and editors for the morning and noon newscasts. I am also responsible for overseeing our web and social media footprint during the early morning hours.In addition to the regular duties of my position, I have been my station's Wellbeing Champion since 2019. That involves sharing important information to help employees live healthier lives and organizing things such as race teams for public events.

As producer at WTAE in Pittsburgh I was responsible for assembling and overseeing the morning newscasts and filling in on various other newscasts. My responsibilities included writing, selecting video, news gathering, assembling rundowns and executing a well-crafted show each and every day.

I served two two-year terms as a member of the NATAS Mid-Atlantic board of governors. During that time, I provided insight and voted on critical issues affecting NATAS Mid-Atlantic's membership. I also served on several committees including as chair of the social media committee.

Pittsburgh

As instructor of Point Park University's JOUR 445 class (Editing And Producing The News), I instruct students on how to build strong newscasts and make responsible editorial decisions. The students build a newscast each week and, combined with two other classes, produce the show for Point Park University's U-View.

Clarksburg, Wv

As Executive Producer at WDTV in Clarksburg I oversaw a team of reporters while also producing the evening 5-6:30 newscasts.
