NearDesk is a startup business providing members with access to hotdesks and meeting rooms through a network of over 300 hundred business and coworking centres across the UK via its digital cloud based software. I joined the founder and co-partner in 2014 with a brief to identify and attract new partnerships and expand the user base. I subsequently took responsibility for developing the marketing function and assisting with the development of Desklodge, a sister company which operates coworking centres.- Jointly agree corporate and functional strategy with quarterly reviews and adjustment- Grow network of partners offering the NearDesk service to their members- Improve customer journey through website improvements, sign up process and follow on contact strategy- Use SEO and PPC to drive awareness and direct sales.- Create range of marketing communications including newsletters and social media to reach customer base and create new leads- Exhibit at trade shows, seminars and network events

Leading the acquisition of strategic partnership for the Clubcard Boost scheme:- Delivery of strategy on partner acquisition- Research on new markets and innovations- Recently negotiated commercial agreements and contracts with Ticketmaster, National Express, Evans Cycles amongst others

Leading a team of up to 10 Partnership Managers and Marketeers to manage the partner base and increase customer adoption and participation in the Clubcard Boost proposition:- Responsible for acquisition and retention management of Clubcard partnerships- Grew partner base from 200 to over 500- More than trebled the number of customers spending their Clubcard vouchers with external partners and doubled the value of vouchers being spent- Created new partnerships across a wide industry range including travel, retail and entertainment- Delivered value for Partners through customer acquisition and retention and delivered insights through both qual and quant research- Used DM and online tools to drive awareness,acquisition and value from new and existing customers- Responsible for pitching and contract negotiation at senior level- Created the Clubcard Deals programme in Republic of Ireland from scratch, signing new partners and launching to a 600k customer base
