Bluprint Design is the official freelance design home for Nick Meacham, a creative & award-winning Graphic Designer located in Madison, Indiana. Nick has been working professionally in the design field for more than 10 years, & has accumulated an extensive design portfolio during this time. In addition, he is always staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, while still maintaining his own unique style.

Responsible for facilitating the use of EMR (Electronic Medical Records). Support physicians and other practice personnel in maintaining efficient service to patients, other hospital departments and customers of the medical practice.

Responsible for the creation and design of print and web advertisements, for use in several publications, including coupon books and telephone directories. Responsible for editing and making changes to all print and web advertisements, for use in the various publications. Also responsible for preparing electronic files for print, including pagination and uploading files via FTP. Maintained the online publications using 3D Issue software, as well as FTP. In addition, I performed various bookkeeping duties including receiving payments and invoicing using Quickbooks software.

Developed and designed print ads for hospital’s weekly newspaper (Medical Leader). Created design and layout for the hospital’s monthly newsletters for employees and physicians. Responsible for the design of all brochures, flyers, rack cards, etc. for various departments throughout the hospital. Also was responsible for designing various posters, billboards, banners, etc. as needed. In addition, prepared and collected all electronic files for print.

Developed ideas, concepts and designs for greeting cards (birthday, holiday, get well, etc.) related to the financial industry. Designed the yearly inventory newsletter that was sent out to clients and customers throughout the United States. Also was responsible for re-drawing, re-creating and enhancing company logos for use in card and envelope personalization. In addition, I prepared and collected all electronic files for print.

Worked as a full-time substitute teacher at Madison Consolidated Jr. High School. Filled in for teachers/faculty in the classroom when needed. Also, worked in the office and performed various bookkeeping duties.

Provided students/faculty with assistance in operating all computer lab software and hardware, including Mac and Windows operating systems.

Performed many of the same duties as described earlier, but to less extent. Mainly worked with supervisor to develop ideas and designs for greeting cards. Developed several greeting card designs while interning there. Two of the designs I created during the internship are part of the current line of greeting cards at Wall Street Greetings.

Gained experience in the field of advertising and graphic design by working with professional graphic designers, art directors and marketing experts. Also, developed an understanding of printing processes and strengthened my portfolio by completing projects involving logo design, corporate identity and newsletters.
