Kona Ice was founded in 2007, beginning to franchise the following year. Kona Ice is a mobile shaved ice company that has arguably grown to be one of the United States' most well-known food franchises. The concept behind the shaved ice mobile truck is to provide the perfect texture of shaved ice in delicious flavors to parties, events, fundraisers, and any other location their ice trucks can reach.There are over 1,300 Kona Ice franchises located throughout the United States to go along with multiple locations in Canada. Since joining the company I have led or been a key contributor to the following projects: •Implemented Fishbowl Inventory software. This provided the company’s first accurate cost information for over $20MM in manufactured equipment and related accessories. Implementation was completely unique to Kona due to hosting inventory for 3 separate companies with their own accounting software in one Fishbowl database. •Led or contributed in a company wide repricing of all equipment and retail items based on new costing information. 2022 was a record year for flavoring, merchandise, and apparel sales totaling over $5MM. •Led the team to migrate the company’s franchisee store from a custom website to a Shopify site. This integrated with Fishbowl and allowed for an easier integration with a new 3PL for the Tom’s Coffee line, which started in Q1 2023. •Led the team that launched a new direct to consumer merchandise and apparel Shopify store in Q1 2023.•Certified as a Salesforce admin and led an expansion of Salesforce use across all departments to increase efficiency and automate repetitive tasks. This has allowed the company to increase volume without increasing headcount in several key areas. •Led ERP selection process with planned implementation in 2025.

I joined as procurement specialist and was promoted repeatedly during a time of unprecedented company change. This led to me managing all sales, four full-time warehouse employees, and inventory valued at over $800k. • Double inventory turnover ratio within my first year• Was given responsibility for sales distribution totaling over $2 million annually within 6 months• Managed and negotiated the material acquisition of all large projects from quoting to purchase• Reorganized 60,000 square foot warehouse to promote more efficient pulling and stocking of product that allowed the warehouse to handle same sales and inventory levels with 20% less staff
