Dimensions is a charity that provides personalised and effective support for people with learning difficulties and autism to have a louder voice, choice and control in their lives. In my first first six months I have helped to clarify the strategy, refined the risk management process and commissioned a governance review.

ExtraCare is a charity that builds and operates retirement villages and smaller housing developments around the Midlands. Its vision is better lives for older people and it has a mission to create sustainable communities that provide homes older people want, lifestyles they can enjoy and care if it’s needed.

Heart of Worcestershire College is the largest further education college in Worcestershire offering a wide range of vocational and technical courses in specialist subject areas alongside an array of apprenticeships and higher education courses.

Vice Chair of stand-alone single county LEP, which is led by private sector businesses in partnership with the public and education sectors. Member of the Quad, the LEP’s inter meeting decision making group. Focus on infrastructure investment, high skill job creation and training. Board champion for Worcestershire Parkway railway station and Business Growth working group.

Created ONR as an agency of HSE in April 2011 and vested as a public corporation in April 2014. Updated the Governance, refreshed the Board and recruited a new Chief Executive. Led Board focus to ensure TreeHouse school achieved an Outstanding Ofsted report. Oversaw development of a growth strategy to build a college for young people with autism aged 19 - 25 and to create free schools for pupils with autism aged 4 -19. Ambitious College and the Rise Free School both opened in September 2014.

Updated the Governance, refreshed the Board and supported development of a growth strategy for Sanctuary's main business streams of Social Housing, Care Homes and Student Accommodation. Steered the Board through the acquisition of the troubled Cosmopolitan Housing Group.

Established the PWSCG as an intelligent customer of free at the point of use weather services and guardian of the Met Office's underpinning operational capability.
