Mount Buller, Victoria, Australia

Managed a ski hire shop for a Hotel in the ski resort of Mt Buller, Australia. I managed a team of six while also working as the main ski technician for the shop. working with the hotel owners we functioned as a separate area of the hotel and dealt with hotel guests and walk-in guests. Although only small in comparison to other shops we still have a constant flow of people with time and staff management being paramount during these periods.

General sales, fitting of ski boots and skis for clients. I also serviced skis and boards using specialist machines that required a high level of knowledge, attention to detail and concentration.

Based in the Dennis Moss satellite office on Eden Island, I Assisted their architects with their day to day duties. Our primarily concern was conducting quality control checks on the contruction and finish of the Island's apartments, maisons and villas while also providing the base office with information about the projects progress and also ensuring the contractor was building to the specifications given. I was tasked with updating construction drawings that required on-site amendments, conduction massing and spacial test for the urban design planning and snagging. I also took a lead role in a number of smaller projects on the island, such as, a newly built site office for our construction team and a redevelopment of the local restaurant. These a managed from design to completion with the help of the senior architects. I also assisted the landscape architect, engineers and project managers with their work.
