At National University, I collaborated with talented faculty members and designers to create engaging learning experiences. I helped develop experiences for an adaptive learning platform that leverages AI and formative feedback to provide an exceptional student experience. Through usability testing, focus groups, and iterative development, this project is constantly evolving to meet student needs.

Greater Boston Area

At JVS, I was responsible for curriculum and elearning development, site administration, and teaching workplace ESL classes. I collaborated with my team to develop assessment tools, eLearning products, and deliver workshops. Additionally, I conducted hundreds of intake interviews, maintained community partnerships, presented at board meetings, and most importantly, helped our students find new and better jobs.

Poland

While traveling through Europe, I heard of this great opportunity to work with an organization connected teachers with Polish professionals who wanted to improve their English. During my time with Angloville, I administered needs analyses to determine instructional goals for adult learners. With that information, I designed engaging learning activities, delivered ad hoc lessons, and coached learners to develop and deliver capstone presentations.

Singapore

As a Senior Teacher at I Can Read, I supervised teachers, taught classes, and collaborated with my team to develop teaching best practices and streamline organizational communication. In addition, I conducted intake assessments / sales consultations for new students and parents, with an 85% success rate. As a Curriculum Developer, I designed and produced an ESL program (a first for the organization). In addition, I worked with leadership to rebrand, relaunch, and redevelop our Primary School program.

Singapore

During my time at HOME (Humanitarian Organization for Migrant Economics), I advised students from the Singapore University Law School on instructional best practices for their workshops on educating Foreign Domestic Workers about their rights. Together we developed and refined learning objectives and activities tailored to the audience.

Seoul, Korea

At Lanpus (in case you’re wondering, it’s a portmanteau of language and campus), I taught 2500 hours of English to Korean children aged 5-10. In addition to the immersive classroom environment, I wrote weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, conducted several parent-teacher interviews, and held multiple open classes.
